Christmas Gift For My Mom
Might as well share this, why the hell not.
Although I have not gotten you a gift, or a card I hope this poem that I write to you,
will be enough to express my appreciation for you.
Through the years you have made Christmas special for me,
with your cheery mood and bubbly personality,
and every year when Christmas comes around the corner, it feels me with such glee,
when the day comes when family gathers together and opens presents,
is the one day of the year that I never forget.
From waking up and smelling Christmas tea and hearing the familiar voice of Nat King Cole,
to resting my head on my pillow after a long day, my mind filled
